Three days to go. ONLY THREE.
Hi guys,
As I said I am leaving very soon and I have been super duper busy doing last minute things. I have almost finished my room, just sorting out my baggage and the GIANT to do list is double the size it was yesterday but some of the things are actually crossed off so I'm okay with that. This last week has basically been filled with doing things for the last time. Monday was the last karate lesson,  Tuesday I went to the beach for the last time (and just a side note on that, I think we should all go to the Takapuna beach more often, it is beautiful), Wednesday I saw my walking buddy for our last major wall and Thursday I saw my school friends for the last time. This is my gradual way of letting go. Tonight I am so excited because there is a youth event at Morningside for Donna and I to say good bye, I have a friend coming up from Hamilton and it's a dress up party because at my eigteenth birthday party I decided that for my good bye party I was going to go as a cowboy. I was going to dress up even if it wasn't a dress up party, so at least this way I don't stick out thatmuch.
So I was listening to a sermon and I hear the Message version of Matthew 5:3 "You're blessed when you are at the end of your rope. With less of you, there is more of God and His rule". This was really cool for me to hear because in the NIV it says "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom  of Heaven." Which, I'm just going to be honest, sounds way cooler but I didn't really understand what it meant.
I have to go now, on that note because I have to get back to my GINORMOUS to do list.
God Bless, Jenna
